Azimut Magellano 25M

Debuting in 2020, the Azimut Magellano 25M remains a notable yacht. It’s an award-winning model from Azimut’s long-range cruising series, designed for owners wanting an expedition-inspired vessel that prioritizes elegance, comfort, and functionality over speed. At 82 feet, its exterior blends traditional trawler lines with modern design and technology. Ken Freivokh, who started the Magellano series in 2009, designed the yacht with a classic hull, near-vertical bow, and a glass-rich superstructure like a floating penthouse. Oval windows and teak details add a retro touch, softening the design.

The yacht offers a sophisticated, relaxed experience at sea. The main salon feels spacious, thanks to large windows and an open layout. It has a dining table for eight, with the galley forward. De Cotiis’ interior features custom furnishings and art, creating a warm and unique space. Below deck are four ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite with a walk-in closet, plus two VIPs and a twin.

The flybridge is a major highlight, accessed by a spiral staircase. This area includes lounging, dining, and cooking spaces, with a carbon fiber hardtop for shade. Aft, there is a wet bar and grill, and forward is a raised pilothouse.

Customization options include the Beach version with a fold-down transom and the Tender version with a water toy garage. Interior layouts can also be customized. Powered by twin MAN V12 1,400 hp engines, it has a Dual Mode hull by Pierluigi Ausonio, offering fuel efficiency and stability, with a 700-nautical-mile range at 12 knots. The Azimut Magellano 25M is a practical and stylish alternative for those seeking elegant, leisurely cruising.
